Wie is Eline Detemmerman?

Ik ben Eline Detemmerman, Belgisch fotograaf en moeder. Mijn benadering van fotografie vertrekt vanuit authenticiteit. Ik geloof dat de mooiste beelden niet ontstaan wanneer alles perfect georganiseerd is, maar wanneer mensen zich veilig genoeg voelen om zichzelf te zijn.

Tijdens een fotosessie geef ik richting waar dat nodig is, zonder elk moment volledig te controleren. Ik creëer ruimte voor beweging, contact, stilte, lachen, troosten, knuffelen en kleine spontane gebeurtenissen. Net die ogenschijnlijk gewone momenten maken een fotoreportage persoonlijk.

Who is Eline Detemmerman?

I am Eline Detemmerman, a Belgian photographer and mother. My approach to photography is rooted in authenticity. I believe the most meaningful photographs do not appear when every detail is perfectly controlled. They appear when people feel safe enough to stop performing for the camera.

During a session, I will guide you whenever guidance is helpful, while still leaving room for movement, connection, silence, laughter, comfort and spontaneous moments. These small and seemingly ordinary interactions are often the photographs that become the most valuable over time.
